I am 5'4 and 237 pounds, I purchase an XL in dark gray and the inseam of 31.7 I believe. they have a nice hold , without feeling tight. They have a nice thickness while feeling breathable and not see through. They cover my ankles while sitting and just past the ankle enough without dragging on the ground. The only thing that could make them better is pockets !

COLOR DIFFERENCE & SIZE GUIDE

Do not go based off your regular size labels, please read the sizing guide! I'm size 8/10 in pants and this XL is snug on me. Snug but comfortable, if that makes sense.
Colors are also different from the images. Olive green is much darker in real life and Navy blue is true navy, not the dark-teal the image shows. I saw other reviews saying they are see through, but they could be talking about the lighter colors. I'm 5'1" and these are 2 inches too long. Good thing I have hem tape so it's not a big deal for me.
